Prices, Accomodation and Food
We work with three registration-fee options. Choose the one that fits your situation best:
350 € – Reduced
For those who would need support. This doesn’t even cover our essential costs, but it gets you on board, and we hope others who can afford it will compensate.
400 € – Standard
This rate helps cover our essential costs. Many thanks!
500 € – Support
For those who can afford to be generous. This option quietly helps someone else.
If you’re hesitating between two numbers, you’re probably doing it right! And if you’re unsure, just write to us.
You may arrange your own accommodation, or we can host you in a room at Bundesinternat Wien am Himmelhof, a boarding school and internat located just 10 minutes’ walking distance from the Bildungszentrum, where the workshops take place. This area is beautiful, surrounded by large gardens and close to the foothills of the Alps.
The cost is 35 € for a double room and 45 € for a private room. All rooms include a private bathroom and toilet.
Alternatively, we may have a limited number of large shared rooms available at the kindergarten directly next to the Bildungszentrum and the workshop locations. These rooms can accommodate up to 15 students in total, with 5 people per room, shared facilities, and a cost of 15 € per person per night. For this option, you will need to bring your own sleeping bag.
If you select any of these options, we will contact you to help find the most suitable arrangement.
Meals will be prepared by our chef, who will be offering delicious dishes made with local ingredients. The meal package includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all five days of the seminars. Please note that meals cannot be booked on a daily basis; the package is all-inclusive.
You may either choose the 5-day meal plan or arrange your own meals outside the festival. If you opt for the festival meal package, you will be able to share your dietary requirements, menu preferences, and any other relevant information.
The cost of the meal plan is 170 € (3 meals per day for 5 days).
Location
The workshops take place at Bildungszentrum an der Wien, which serves both as our seminar rooms and the concert halls, as well as limited number of accommodation for 15 participants. Located in the Hietzing district of Vienna, the center offers a rare combination of calm surroundings, generous space, and excellent facilities for artistic and educational work.
Bildungszentrum an der Wien provides spacious seminar rooms, rehearsal spaces, a concert hall, and large green outdoor areas. This allows the entire workshop to unfold in one continuous, shared environment, where learning, practicing, resting, and informal exchange can happen naturally throughout the day. Shared meals and common spaces further support a strong sense of community and continuity during the week.
The center is situated in one of Vienna’s quietest areas, close to nature and away from the city’s rush, while still being easily accessible. The U4 metro line is just a few minutes away, ensuring a smooth connection to the city center. There are also paid parking options within walking distance, available for €23.10 per week at Best in Parking.
We chose Bildungszentrum an der Wien deliberately, not only for its practical infrastructure, but because its atmosphere supports what these workshops aim to offer: focus, depth, presence, and shared experience. Living and working together in one place creates the conditions for meaningful musical exploration and genuine exchange beyond the classroom.
